Los Angeles, CA – Acoustic rock performer Wade Gaddis is set to release a new single. The song, “By My Own Hand,” will showcase Gaddis’ exception songwriting and guitar-playing abilities, not to mention his vocal skills.

“By My Own Hand” is a dark-themed tune that explores intimate memories from Gaddis’ own life. “It is about someone I know taking their own life,” explains Gaddis.

The song is full of the qualities that make Gaddis’ work distinctly his own, including the guitar picking in the intro and verses, his flair for solos in his songs and his signature vocal delivery.

Gaddis fuses the soft edges of acoustic with the vibrant energy of rock-n-roll. His lyrics never fail to be thought-provoking and emotive, matching the emotional power of the melodies expressed via Gaddis’ capable instrumental abilities.

Following the break-up of his band, Gaddis unsuccessfully attempted to organize another musical group. Following “days of doom” and efforts to kick start a new band, Gaddis decided to pursue a solo career.

“I decided that the only way I was going to make it as a musician was to do it myself, so I spent months writing songs and finally recorded, and here I am.”

His solo career finds him heading down a different artistic path. His previous musical endeavors found him playing electric guitar, “but this brought me into a whole new form of expression.”
